A Busy Week

It's been a long time since i last posted a blog.. my golly!! Anyway, I have lots of things to share, after a week of preps in Philippines..

I went home for 10 days, spent my first 3 days in Naga to attend my friend's wedding, 4 days for my preps, and 3 days at home for my niece's first birthday... wheew!!! busy week huh??

Let me share with you my wedding preps..

1st day: Caterer and Event Stylist

I know i'm so terrible but i forgot their names.. maybe my mind's not composed that time.. but i'm really bad with names na tlga.. something i must change..(i asked my friend na, and waiting for her reply)

Anyway, the caterer: VS&F. We went to Grand Terrace to finalize the menu for our wedding, oh, i'm with Rossel, Heidi, and my sissies, Marlon didn't came home with me, so yeah, we went there and reviewed the menu. I'm lucky I have these 2 "i wont take NO for an answer" people,Rossel and Heidi, they requested to change some, and add up some.. haha!! It's nice to hear them saying "ate pwede bang eto nlng?" or "ate palitan mo nlng to, kung di pwede yun.." i owe them a lot.. after a long talk, finally! menu's done, and approved and signed by me!!! on June 12 it's their food tasting, my family will be there to try, couple's turn will be in our next vacay.. =) can't wait to do tasting.. haha.. baka lamon gawin ko.. =)

The event stylist: Flowers Unlimited. Owned by a sweet couple. They said they wanted to deactivate their site, because some are printing it to copy the arrangements. tsk!! but unfortunately, others couldn't. how'd they found out? they've been receiving calls for last minute hand bouquets, as in "when do you need it?" the answer: "now na." oww emm gee.. hehe.. Anyway, they are to make my dream wedding comes to life. When I saw their portfolio, I was so confused na, I feel like changing our theme,when they're showing me the photos from events they did. And finally, they showed me one set up, though it's from a debut, and it made my life easy.. hehe.. i liked it.. =) But of course they will be changing some details so that it'll be appropriate for a wedding theme.. I asked them to make it classy.. I just cant wait!!! After I chose which arrangement i wanted, we discussed together with VS&F the table setting, which color of table cloth, runner, table napkin shall we use to compliment with the arrangement. After almost 2 hours of talk, we're done!! approved and signed!!

Second Day: Photographer and Designer

Smart Shot Studio will be doing the full coverage of our wedding, including our pre-nup. We were not able to talk with Mr. Lito Genilo, because he was out of the country for some wedding coverage.. Yet the staff there showed us the things that are included in our package.. And I remembered telling her "ate, ayoko ng HDR ha." haha!! I'm in a photography world!! Pre-nup scheduled!!!

As I went inside the boutique, i looked around and told Heidi, "eto yata yung sa imortal na booutique." but she's not hooked with Imortal, kaya di nya na-confirm.. While waiting for the designer, I was looking at his creations, grabe!! everything's amazing and classy, and in my heart i was wishing, "sana kaya ng budget". Then after few minutes, there comes Edward Teng. Yes! He's my designer, talking about classiness. hehe.. He looked at me, and said "ano kayang gusto nyang gown?". While he's doing the sketch, he was explaining to me  how it will look.. I asked him to draw also the gown that i wanted, but still, i prefer the one he drew.. =) but when he told me the price for my gown, napalunok ako.. haha.. it's over the budget.. but luckily, after some talk, naging ok na,, swak na swak na!! hehe.. After a day, i had my first fitting, they rushed the lining for me, coz i'll be going back to SG in few days. I must admit, fitting the lining made me more excited.. =)

Make-Up Artist will be Michael Celestino, professional make-up artist of GMA 7's: Eat Bulaga. He did Rossel's make-up during her wedding day too.. Didn't get the chance to meet him.. sayang.. Anyway, I'll see you in September for the trial make-up and prenup shoot,, =)

All is set for our BIG DAY!!!
